Viscosity by Zahn Cup
Purpose: This test method is used to determine the viscosity of paints, varnishes, lacquers, inks, and related materials via Zahn Cup.
Sample: One (1) quart of liquid

Basic Description: A Zahn cup is dipped into a liquid sample at a specified temperature (usually 25°C). The cup is then raised up and a timer is started and end when the cup is emptied. The viscosity (seconds) is the time it takes for the cup to be emptied.
