Durometer A, D, and M Hardness

Purpose: This test method is used to determine the hardness of rubber materials.

Sample: 1 x 1 x 0.25 inches or smaller for Durometer M Hardness Scale

Basic Description: A flat test specimen is put on a test surface.  The indentor is pressed on the surface with a fixed load and the hardness value is measured. 

Limitations: We can only measure with Durometer A, D, and M scales.
