Scrape Adhesion of Organic Coatings
Purpose: This test method is used to measure the scrape adhesion of organic coatings such as paint, varnish, and lacquer when applied to smooth, flat (planar) panel surfaces.
Sample: Coated panels, 4 x 6 inches

Basic Description: A coated panel in placed onto the scrape adhesion tester. The weight is placed on the support beam and pushed until a weight that caused coating failure is determined.
Limitations: up to 10kg
