ASTM D1505
Density of Plastics by Gradient Tube
Purpose: This test method is used to determine the density of solid plastics by gradient tube.
Sample: One (1) gram
Price & Delivery: Contact us for a quote.
Basic Description: The specimens are placed in the tube until equilibrium is reach (about minutes or so, longer for thin specimens). The height of the specimens is measured and the density is calculated against the standard density floats.
Limitations: Range: 0.890 to 0.970 g/cm3 -or- 1.100 to 1.400 g/cm3
